Wow.

As it turns out, I am doing okay in my nascent screenwriting career.

I got word today: my short screenplay, “A Cure for Creativity” has been awarded “Best Short Screenplay” at the Bloody Mirror Horror Film Festival in T’bilisi, Georgia.

The producer / festival team did a super helpful writeup advising me about pitching this thing (a sample follows).

I am grateful, as always, for any and all recognition, especially since it all seems so unlikely. I am going to take this win and use its inspiration to keep on with writing screenplays. I may even try my hand at pitching this one to shudder and hulu, etc. Any advice would be appreciated, as always!
