Charity Anthology Effort & Personal Reflection Essay re: Rock Concerts in Recovery

I got a chance to sit down with Brian Walsh, writing for Surrender to the Flow #86, to talk about recovery, publishing, and our shared hopes for the Divided Sky Foundation. (I have no affiliation with DSF, but I support them and hope you will, too.) We also discussed Whisper House Press’s call for submissions for a charity anthology. Details about the call are available in that interview as well as here on this website. If you’re considering submitting, I hope you’ll read both.

You can also find my essay about my first time seeing Phish while sober in this issue, Surrender to the Flow #86. (If you don’t know the periodical, STTF is a fan zine that’s been around at least since I started seeing the band in the early 2000s, and Christy Articola releases it every tour—always chock full of fun stuff like tales, reviews, recipes, and helpful info about each city on the tour.)

You can get a copy of STTF#86 on this site for free or donation—and I encourage you to donate, as proceeds benefit the Divided Sky Foundation.
